Rechargeable LED table lamp "Space" - Adam Tihany When creating the LED table lamp "Space", designer Adam Tihany thought of the famous "Space Needle" of Seattle - 1962. the observation tower built for the world exhibition. Therefore, this table lamp also looks very futuristic and almost "cosmic". Space is a rechargeable lamp with a battery that provides a maximum lighting time of eight hours. The body and the hood of the lamp are made of different plastics (PMMA and ABS), which are partly transparent, partly opaque. The space is turned on and off by touching the top of the shade. Design company "Kartell" plastic in all shapes and colors is one of the most commonly used materials from which designer creations are made, some of which are so famous that they have become true classics. Well-known "Kartell" works - children's chair K 1340, lemon press KS 1481 or 1959. Lamp model 4006 designed by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni.
